Twilight Netball is BACK!
DETAILS
• 8 weeks Social Mixed Netball Competition.
• Wednesday nights from 6th October to 24th November.
• Outdoor netball rules apply.
• Male and female players allowed in all divisions
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
• Register as an individual – $80 per player
• Players must be turning 15 yrs or over in 2021 to register for opens (parental consent required for players Under 18)
• All teams require a team manager/team contact person.
• Payment must be made at time of registration.
GAME TIMES
Juniors games are played at 5.30pm
Intermediate games are played at 6.30pm or 7.30pm depending on teams numbers.
Opens games are played at either 6.30 or 7.30pm depending on number of teams registering.
Late arrivals will not delay game commencement. Games will start on time; your team will be required to take the court.
GAME DURATION
Matches are 4 x 12-minute quarters with a 4-minute break at half time and a 2-minute break at quarter time and three-quarter time.
MIXED TEAM RULES
Standard Competition Rules will apply with the following addition:
• A maximum of three (3) males, per team allowed on the court at any time.
• A maximum of one (1) male per third is allowed, i.e.
- One in either Goal Shooter or Goal Attack,
- One in either Wing Attack, Centre or Wing Defence,
- One in either Goal Defence or Goal Keeper.
- Teams cannot have male players in both GD & GK or GA & GS at the one time.
UNIFORMS
This is a social competition, so uniform rules are relaxed – teams can choose to wear matching shirts as their Uniform. Players will need to wear court shoes, runners or joggers. Converse or skate shoes will not be permitted as a safety precaution.
WET WEATHER
One wet weather round will be reserved on 1st December 2021. Please be prepared to play on this date for one makeup round only.
FINALS
There will be no finals, however, we will have medallions for the teams that finish on top of the ladder.
